Help picking video card

I have a Gigabyte 8I915G Motherboard,and I need a new Video card.I'm running a Pentium 4 processer,and I have 3 gb memory.Any Takers??

What kind of monitor do you run? Are you planning to upgrade the monitor in the lifetime of the board? What do you expect the lifetime of your system to be?

Have you any plans what you want it to do?

>Just plain Internet activity like the boards and email?
>Games? On line or only on the PC?
>Spread sheets / write documentation? what resolutions? That determines how may lines you can see at once.
>watch or make DVDs
>watch TV or TIVO TV shows?

When I bought my video cards about 2004, they were way ahead of my monitor. I recently upgraded the monitor to a flat screen. The video cards just dealt with it. no problem.
