Hello,I appreciate all the help i've got this far,thanks my mobo is a asus P5N-EM HDMI . today I even flashed the bios,I can't get at the settings in the advanced bios to make a change. does anyone out there know if that board is even clockable

Do you mean you can not change the fsb or multiplier?

THERE IS NO ADJUSTMENT FOR CPU CLOCK SPEED OR CPU FREQUENCY OR EXTERNAL CLOCK. ITS WEIRD. I'VE BEEN LOOKING ALL OVER AT DIFFERANT SITES FOR INFO AND BY ALL RIGHTS IT SHOULD BE THERE, MAYBE ITS LOCKED OUT OR SOMETHING , YOU GUYS UP FOR A CHALLENGE????
