TItle says it all.

I've flashed the BIOS to the 304 bios. The 324 is still in beta as far as I can tell. Not sure why it's only detecting 2g. I have 3x2 gb modules, each in an orange slot.

hhhmmmmm......time for rma??

have you tried switching the modules around to different slots and seeing if its the maybe the RAM?

i've switched them to every slot...and they only work in one slot...the first orange one. i know biostar's got issues with ram recognition, but really, this is ridiculous.

unless your PSU is messing w/ things, it sounds like a mobo issue

Reply to arges86

ah man....i really didn't want to come to that conclusion. crap...

Here's something interesting...in the BIOS, under "O.N.E." in "Memory Insight" it only shows that the C1 slot is occupied with memory, which the ram module is in the C2 slot. Secondly, the mobo isn't supposed to start with memory only in the C1 slot...weird weird

is there an auto detection in the BIOS for the memory?
can you set that to manual?

Reply to arges86

You using 64bit OS? Nevermind if bios doesn't detect the ram.

the ram is autodetected by the BIOS. i don't see an option to set it to manual. Yea...I'm using xp 64.
