Two hard drives

I was wondering. If I have two hard drives Do I have to use them in Raid or can I add the one in with the other, and get it to work immediately?

also Can they be different sizes?

because I was curious if I could put in my old 500Gb WD Hard drive in with my 1Tb WD hard drive and add space. Both have Windows Vista 64, would that be a problem as well?

you can use both at the same time

its just if both have windows on them, you have to make sure you go into the bios and set which drive you want it to boot from

make sure your boot order is set as you wish and you should be great
