This is more related to heat sinks, but I didn't think it would it in heat sink section.
I have a Thermaltake Golden Orb II, and that is AM2 and LGA775 compatible.
My question is, do Core i7 heat sinks use the LGA775 setup? What I mean is, I want to use my 775 cooler, and I want to know if it's compatible with core i7. Thanks.

Nah. Not really. I mean LGA775 has had about a 5 year run (released in 2003 I think) which is pretty damn good for a socket. All this is is separating the high & extreme end from Mainstream.

Yeah but there's been a couple of unconfirmed rumours that they're bringing another socket type out next year, despite the LGA1339 only recently coming out.

I think it was out for about 3 years. 2000-2003. It lasted a bit till 2004 but after that Athlon X2 killed P4 and Prescott didn't really show the best.
