I have 2 hard drives in my comp, I have XP home on main drive and I want to install unbunto on the second drive. Do I just load the bios setup during start up or is there an easier way?

If you want to run more then one OS on your system the best way is via a rack/mount system.

Using a rack/mount system you can easily switch between the two hard drives.

There will be absolutely no conflicts either because the two OS's will each have their own drive.

Just set the bios to "auto detect".

Are you seriously suggesting getting a rackmount setup rather then just letting GRUB do its thing?

Just insert the Ubuntu CD run the install, select the secondary drive and install. Every time you start it will give you the option of OS.

I'm with dj on this one.
Suggesting rack mounts etc is one above sticking your finger in an electrical socket to test if it's live or not on the good advice list.
