N00b needs overclocking advice

Let give you guys a system break down...

Case- Azza solano 1000

Motherboard- Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H (rev. 1.0)

CPU- AMD 955 BE

Cooler- Cooler Master hyper n520

Ram- OCZ AMD BE 4gig

Power supply- Corsair 750tx

Hard Drive- Western Digital Caviar Black 1tb

Video Card- None yet

Need recomendations on that too. But my issue is i see all these reviews on being able to over clock my processor to 3.9 stable. But I cant get past 3.6

Im pretty much a computer noob and would love some advice on my whole rig is it good is it bad etc. What would you guys change or buy for things like that. And how to overclock

You'll have more luck after you get a video card.

read some guides.

overclocking can be dangerous and you sure as hell shouldn't be doing it until you know how it works.
you will need voltage increases and plenty of stability testing, but if we just tell you some settings you will most likely destroy something.

i don't mean to sound harsh, but at the end of the day if you don't know how to overclock, don't overclock.
