I have OCZ gold ddr3 10666 1333 mhz 2*2 4gb.
9-9-9-20 1.65v

SO.... I have set the voltage to 1.66 manually, (mobo doesn't support 1.65)
The ram timings are on auto and they rund at 7-7-7-16 ??
CPU z shows DRAM freq 533.3mhz... I thought my ram is 1333/2 667mhz??
When I set DRAM freq to 1333 in bios - system crashes.

Why is my ram timing like that... I guess its good because its faster but ...its weird.

So what does 10666 and 1333mhz differ in?? and why does it crash when I put 1333 manually in bios...(also manually put stock timing)

Only reason Im fiddling around with this is because my 965 BE c2 will be stable at 3.8 ghz at 1.4875 which seems a little high...

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated...

Have a g day!!

Possibly, it would mean that you'd have to set the timings higher for AMD.
Try setting your CR (Command Rate) to 2T. Otherwise, if it doesn't work, then I personally wouldn't care, because to be honest - there is very very very very very little difference in terms of performance between 1066MHz and 1333MHz. Besides, 1066MHz with 7-7-7-16 is faster than 1333MHz with 9-9-9-20.

I already tried this and it failed on me...
When I type in my serial number for RAM it tells me this is optimized for intel,,, i have amd...would this make a difference?
