E8400 temps??

hey have a 3.0 ghz with zaalman 9700nt, idle 30 load around 50 on intel burn test and 40 on compnay of heroes,warm day tho. not to worried just wondering what other e8400 users get on 3.0 ghz?? cheers

I've got an e8500 w/ a stock fan in a CM HAF. I idle around 38C and have seen it up around 44C on testing. I think your temps are fine.

Got an E8400 (X3110 actually) and it runs at about 70-75C during "burn-tests" with stock cooler/paste. Anyone not expecting that from the stock should read a bit more before buying as it was well known. I plan on changing cooler, but not sure what to get yet since a 120mm HSF might not fit into my casing (Xaser III V2000).
