Hi, i need to get an updated driver for my old colorgraphic card. My understanding is the company is now bust, and their web site doesnt have anything.
I have a drivers agent subscription, but when i download it, i get a cab file that i just cannot open.
Are there any other options?
I need to up grade as i bought a couple of games for the kids. Need for speed, and star wars lego.
According to my specs, i should have no trouble playing either. But star wars will not load at all, and we only get to have one race on need for speed
Opteron 180, 3gig ram, recent (2months) windows in stall. Mobo A8n SLI deluxe
I think you won't be able to play Lego StarWars, the specs say it requires a DX9 card. The Xentra is based on the R9000, and thus will not meet the specs.
To bad you didn't mention this before you asked about a new card, you could've bought this one which is DC9.0C compliant, and would've driven those other two monitor (although you would want to make it the primary).
The Xentra is just a radeon 9000 on a different board, you should be able to use the standard ATi drivers, but the big problem is the R9000 is no longer supported by the current drivers, so you'd want to go back a bit for those. But with an X1550 you could use the current drivers, but as you see the price is more than double the R9000, and is about the same price as buying a new midrange DX10.1 card.

Can you make a suggestion as to which card i should buy? I think ill just return the other one, just to keep my boys happy and get a few new games, it will save me a lot of money in the long run
Yep that would be the card, and you'll notice this time it comes with one DVi-VGA adapter, so you don't need 2.
Bur, WAIT !
Is your MOBO an A8N SLi Deluxe?
If so, then you don't need to stick to a PCI card, you can get a PCI express card. You should have 2 free PCIe X16 slots if you're using that Xentera. I didn't see you write this in your other thread.
Out of those options I would say the Gigabyte 4350 gives you the best return/value.
Just confirm that this is for that motherboard, because if you have free PCIe slots that's the way to go, not a PCI card.
Then move the HD 3K/4K card as your primary, and then the Xentera will run your other 4 monitors from the PCI slot as 'dumb' windows extended cards.

If you still need the Xentera GT Drivers, I have them -- just went on an extensive search myself and finally found them.
Now I'm having trouble getting the card to recognize my TV. It will recognize the TV during the POST screen but when Windows starts loading the S-Video signal is no longer sent to the TV or the TV is no longer seen by the computer?
Let me know if you want these drivers or have any feedback on my TV problem.
