Hey jsut kind of throwing this out there, I am planning to purchase another 4850 to crossfire with mu current one. however I have been doing a bunch of reading and now i have doubts of weather my PSU can handle it. I have a BFG Tech 650W PSU and these are its specs:

MAX OUTPUT = 650W
+3.3v - 30A
+5v - 54A
+12v1 - 20A
+12v2 - 20A
-5v - .5A
-12v - .8A
+5vSB - 2.5A

Yeah its pretty weird, this is all it says on that tape on the side of the PSU, no max wattage or anything. I looked at similar ones (because they dont sell my PSU anymore, and its not that old, bought it in june) and estimated that the combined wattage for the 12v was around 500W

Now I have also been digging up and low and have not managed to get some hard number of the actual required ampage for the 4850 so if anyone has those that would be great.

I also stumbled into this wonderful calculator at:

that someone else posted here on these forums and it says I only require a 550W PSU to run Crossfire and I even put the capasitor age a 50% and my Q6600 OCed. I highly doubt my capacitors are that old since I got this board in july.

so what do you guys think?
