i have a q9550 and think i am having some temp issues. would someone please let me know what you think?

My CPU is at 35C and the 4 cores are as follows; 36 54 31 44...

is it just me or does it seem strange that cores 2 and 4 are much greater than the others while core 3 is so much lower??? i am dumbfounded, pleas help

re position your heatsink and reapply thermal paste

four easy steps! :lol:
1. buy thermal grese
2. take off the cpu cooler
3. wipe off compleatly old grease form the cpu and heatsink
4. apply thin layer on cpu using something to spead it at even as possible

indeed, i have done this already probably about 3 or 4 times over the course of the processor in my presence. i am using the ceramique arctic silver. i have also used the stock stuff zalman gave me and ac5.. the one i currently have seems to work the best. any other suggestions? as to why this may be happening and a fix?
