My girlfriend bought a laptop last year for a bargain and of course it had no graphics card.

Since then I've gotten her to play WoW and she loves it, but in towns and such the machine stutters a lot.

for a machine with no card, it runs nice enough but I'm looking into options for making it run better.

The machine has 2 gigs or ram and I can't think of the processer but it is a compaq and isnt majorly upgradeable, not sure of the model number but i doubt you can put in a graphics card.

My question is, is there an exteran video card option for laptops that may be able to soften the load on the computer and may provide a fair/good boost to the graphics?

She won't buy a regular rig, she likes her laptop, and wont be buying another for a year or so, so any information/suggestions would be appreciate.

Thanks

You can't replace the graphics solution in the laptop. You could try the Asus XG Station, i don't know to much about it.
