Hi
I have a Dell Inspiron 530s series with 3 GB of RAM 500 GB of memory space with an Intel Core Duo 2.4GHz processor and a Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family it has a 250 watt power supply and is a slim tower. I was wondering the best graphics card upgrades so i could play some current games that require better cards

i have a $100-$200 limit and would like if the card could be bought in a local best buy or store like that

1.) Your power supply is too weak for any of the more powerful gaming class video cards.

2.) You have a 'slim' tower, which means you must use 'low profile' video cards.

Probably your best bet considering you can only use a low profile card, and that dell has a weak power supply.

If you could somehow upgrade your power supply, this is the best low-profile graphics card available:

However, I highly doubt that it would work with your 250 watt power supply, or at least not for very long...

The one that Pariah linked to seems like your best bet.

It is a pretty popular upgrade at the Dell forum and has slightly lower power consumption than the HD3450 that is offered in the machine.
Weak power supply is kinda relative to the machine, it was never intended to be a gamer.

You can think what you would like, but read my previous post again.

Another option is this card.

It works with the Inspiron 530s PSU (which can handle more than the 250 W Dell states); and it fits in the case.
