I was just wondering if anyone has successfully installed an ATI card on a mobo with onboard nvidia graphics? Ive heard here and there that you will run into some problems or difficulty's, if so what types and overall if its possible. This is what I am trying to do install an ATI 4670 on XFX 630i mobo w/ on board nvidia geforce 7150....

It should be fine. I've honestly had more issues with NVIDIA cards on NVIDIA boards then I have had with ATI cards on NVIDIA boards. Just uninstall the onboard NVIDIA drivers before installing the ATI ones.

The chipset wouldn't make a difference. Did you turn off the onboard graphics and uninstall the Nvidia graphics drivers before installing the new card?

i dont have the card yet just wanted to see peoples opinion on this
