I'm trying to install raid driver for onboard Silcon Image
3112A raid controller on an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe
motherboard. I've tried drivers that came with MB and
have downloaded other drivers. They seem to install okay
until the end; then it says "file not found" and it flags
the driver to be removed on next reboot. The error
message won't say what the missing file is. Considering
the fact I have tried different drivers and get the same
error, I suspect that the problem is something with XP;
and not the driver. I am running XP Professional.

Problem solved... error could be ignored. Installing disk
driver afterward keeps raid controller from uninstalling.
Still required to update to latest bios to keep computer
from locking up when accessing disk.
