Can i use ddr2 ram on this mobo?

im building an i7 rig and dont want to pay triple digit for ram, this mobo says the standard is ddr3 1333 but thats real expensive so could i use ddr2 with this mobo:

both the ddr3 and ddr2 are 240-pin so will it work?

the answer is simple: no.

not only will DDR2 not work, it also won't fit.

The i7 is DDR3 only im afraid.

DDR3 1333MHz is quite cheap now anyway.
