WinTv, picture problem.

I'm having a garbled picture, and using this tv tuner Hauppage Wintv-HVR-1250. Used it on an xp machine everything was fine, next week they bought a new pc, it has vita home premium, eveyrthing else was practically the same [pc ahrdware wise]. The audio comes in clearly but the picture looks like this now:

I have tried updating: video drivers, tv tuner drivers, and the wintv
application to reflect the newest one [4.6]

I've got the same problem, although I haven't changed anything - the card used to work OK in the very same computer. I've not found a fix for it yet.

I've just found a fix. From Start->Programs select Hauppage WinTV -> Primary and change the settings in the box there. Mine was set to VMR and Allow VMR 7 only. I changed it to VMR 9 only and it works now.

Oh thank you, I just used for their pc the vista home premium media center app and it worked fine.

There is a tool at hauppage webpage to clear all "OLD TV DRIVERS & SOFTWARE" before installing the new version. Have you done that?

Hauppage software are the most stable that i have use....
