Sapphire 5850
G.Skill 4gb DDR3-1333 7-7-7-21 T2 @ 1.5v
I'm fairly new to OCing but overclocking a BE is fairly easy. So far, I've been able to reach 3.7ghz (18.5 multiplier) however I had to increase my cpu voltage to 1.400v to make it Prime95 stable. At 100% load, (using P95) it's running very hot (around 58 degrees). I'm using a Hyper 212 cooler. I set my bios cpu voltage to 1.400, it is showing 1.375 on CPU-Z, not sure why there is a difference.
Is having the pc stable using P95 necessary? I could probably decrease the cpu voltage or reach 3.8ghz instead.
