Hello,
my name is James, and im trying to install windows xp on a HP pavilion 6257c computer the reason we are doing this is that the hard drive we had went bad and there is no way to get anything off so we bought a new hard drive and know want to reinstall windows 7 on it but the only one we have is the microsoft windows 7 proffesional Upgrade, and from what ive read you are not able to to a clean upload you have to have XP or vista on it for it to work is there any way i can upload Windows Xp to the new drive so i can upload it?
any help would be greatly appreciated thank you ahead of time
