slow vista startup

So I was thinking maybe because its vista it may take a little longer than XP to startup.

Then I built a new PC for someone using the same version of 64 bit vista home premium, but with a slower processor and slower RAM basically everything inferior and its probably 2-3 times faster to start up than mine! Even my school PC's still using IDE drives and basically low model core 2's and slower RAM load up way faster than mine!

Heres the sys specs

ASUS Maximus II Formula mobo
G-Skill 1066mhz RAM
E8500 @ 3.8 ghz
WD Blue Series 500GB HD 16mb buffer
XFX 9800 gtx black edition
800w ABS Modular PSU
Couple of Asus DVD/CD drives
64 bit vista home premium
