Is it possiable to have RAID 0+1 set up on 3 hds, my setup would be 2 1TB drives in raid 0 and one 2tb raid 1 backing up the raid 0, is that possiable?

Solution
No that is not possible. They must be same make of hard drives with the same capacity.

What I recommend is to setup the 2TB hard drive to back up your data. Windows 7 has a software that would do a scheduled backup routine. It isn't instant like RAID 1 and won't increase your read performance but it backs up your data.
