Asus P5Q P45 Chipset Boot Problem please help

Hi guys,

I just built a new pc with some of my old stuff with a new motherboard and new CPU. Fixed everything, start up the PC, Lights come up, Fans spin, HD sound, but no display (No POST no BIOS) on monitor and no error sound from motherboard. Checked Video Card on other motherboard and its working fine.


Here are my specs:-

New Stuff:-
Asus P5Q ExpGATE S775 P45 DDR2 FSB1600 PCIE RAID 2xGBLAN 2x1394a ATX

Intel ATX E8500 CORE 2 DUO/3.16GHz/6MB/1333FSB/LGA775

Old Stuff:-

RAM 2x1Gb DDR2-533 Kingston & 2x1Gb DD2-533 Corsair

Video Card:-Asus 9800 GTX

I suspect my RAM is not compatible because the new motherboard supports DDR2 667/800/1200, could this really be the case? Or could it be something else?
