Can my Asus M3A78-CM 780v support the new AM3 AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz

1. Also will i be able to use my ddr2 800mhz ram or will that bottleneck the cpu.
(and taking into account I do not overclock)

2. Will this cpu be a good upgrade in gaming from my amd+6000 3.1 ghz.

3. will xp pro support this process or do I need a patch or do I have to get vista.
