Hi all not sure if this were i should post but i need some help im building a new comp and i want to chose the best choice in ram possible for my build so far i purchased the cpu and mobo

for cpu i bought the Q9550
and the motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775

im mainly thinking of using this comp for gaming so i want the comp to run as smooth as possible after i buy some of the other parts i need but need help with the ram i never did quite understand the latency stuff of ram any help or suggestions are a appreciate thanks
