I just built my new computer and I had to put in a wireless card because the modem and router are too far away.
Needless to say since they are far away my signal strength is not so great I lag all the time in LAN games.

So my question is.
Is there a way to turn my old wireless G WRT54G router into a receiver so I can get a better signal?

or is there something else I can do to improve it.

I use Windows Vista 64bit
