Hi everyone!

I just bought a Corsair HX620 for my new computer (Core2Duo 7200, 4Gb ddr2-1033...).
I'm wondering about one thing, my graphic card has just one 8-pins connector but it also includes a converter from 2x6pins to 1x8pins.
But the PSU come with 2 conectors of 6+2pins PCI-E.
My question is, it's enough to connect 1 cable of 6+2pins to my graphics card? or do I need to use the converter from 2x6 to 1x8 that come in the package of the 9800gtx?

Thank you very much in advance !

I have the same psu. It came with two PCI-e 6-pin +2pin cables for video cards. It can be used for either 6 pin or 8 pin PCI-e connections. If you only have one video card, then you would only use one cable. If you have a second video card for SLI or CrossFire mode, then the second cable would be connected to the second video card. As you have already learned, you have a new video card that requires an 8 pin PCI-e connection. Simply connect one 6 pin +2 pin cable to your video card. Save the second cable in case you ever want to add a second video card for SLI or Crossfire mode.
