So i've been rolling with the X2 3800+ for quite some time now, and it has served me well, but lately its really beginning to show its age and I feel i'm in need for an upgrade. Since I'm extremely strapped for cash I was thinking about just bumping it up to maybe a 5600+ or a 5800+ and my main question is, would I really see much of a difference between the two?

The 5600 has 1mb of lvl 2 cache and is 90nm, while the 5800 has 512mb and is 65nm. I'm not going to be overclocking or anything so i'm not really worried about the heat issue with the 90nm. Any help would be appreciated, I would've liked to get the 7750 BE but my crappy mobo doesnt support am2+.

Well if I get the 5800+ then I have to use the heatsink that i'm using right now, which is the stock HSF that came with my 3800. Since it cools my 3800 90nm alright do you think it would be fine for the 5800+, which is 65nm?
