I have a Pentium dual core e2160 running at stock speeds, 2GB of Ram, Vista Ultimate and A 9600 GSO, the trouble is the performance of need for speed on my system is appalling, even with all the settings turned down. What could be the problem? Crysis Warhead and Far cry 2 are running much better at 1024x768 with medium settings than this game at 800x600 with all settings turned down.

Yeah i have heard alot of performance problems with this game,i dont think its your VGAs problem,download the latest drivers or maybe EA will release a patch for it.

My friend has the E6850 With 4GB of Dominator DDR1066 Mhz memory and an HIS Radeon 4870, it works fine with him........at high resolutions and all the eye candy turned up......is this a problem with Nvidia's drivers or with the game itself? And i have the latet drivers for everything! just downloaded all of them 4 days back.

strange,but when u dont have problems with other games,i doubt if its your cards problem.

Vista Ultimate 32bit + NFS Undercover = [:mousemonkey:2]

XP 32bit SP3 + NFS Undercover = [:mousemonkey:4]

IMHO from what I've experienced.

hmmmm this friend of mine is using Vista Ultimate as well! I guess the 32bit drivers for vista are buggy!! will look into it.
