Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

There's no such beast, I'm afraid. You need to work with the one you have and find the right driver for it. In Control Panel>Device Manager, click the device's Properties button then the Details tab and note the four characters after VEN for Vendor and the four after DEV for Device. Input those at http://www.pcidatabase.com then follow the links to the maker's website for the correct driver.

You need to get some more details about what you need, what model compaq? I figure in their history, if you cound the PDAs and such, they have put out several thousand different models. It's like asking for a universal tire that will fit a Ford.

Post the exact model and type of computer and we can help you track down a driver.
