Mismatched drives ok for RAID 0?

Hi, thanks for looking. I've read once or so that the drives have to be identical for RAID. not sure if this is true, so I'm asking you guys. Bought second drive off eBay by searching matching model No. but received drive was slightly different model No. and firmware.

No problem. They don't even need to be the same manufacturer but it's best if they are. The biggest issue is the EADS/EARS issue whereas WD is starting to introduce 4096kb sectors. Eventually they will all go this way but there are some growing pains.
