In anticipation of the next question, no you cannot upgrade the CPU with a recent generation CPU. If you want to improve performance you need to buy another PC.

Most people here will probably recommend that you build you own to save some $$$, but building your own PC is not best for everyone especially those who are not technically inclined and who do not wish to do so.
