Problem Matshita UJ870PC

Hello,
I've problem my Matshita uj-870PC. It doesn't read some DVD's. Dvd's look empty. When I try another device, I don't see this situtation.

Have you tryed using it outside of you os ie: booting from it ?
Also, have you checked your bios to see that it is being detected properly ? If gibberish text or no text is displayed for the drive in the bios this could suggest the drive is/has failed.
Check your cables and make sure they are firmly connected (maybe try another) and if your system is overclocked try default settings.

Some optical drives don't read discs as well as others. If the discs are scratched or smudged, try cleaning them with a few drops of water and a soft cloth.
