Can i restore media from a dvd that i deleted whilt trying to copy it after rest

Hi there please could some one advise.

Whilst trying to copy a dvd that was of a holiday made by my deceased brother i accidentaly erased it off the disc,since then my laptop has been system restored is it possible to get tht video back?

It's highly doubtful that you erased it from the DVD.

Install a program made to duplicate a DVD and copy it again.
