From what I hear there is some kind of limit imposed on the CPU which limits how much u can OC the memory. So in the case that I get corsair TR3X6G1600C8D memory and a P6T will I be able to OC that mem 10-15%?

Thanks,
Sebastian

I.m running mushkin 3X2gb 7-7-7-20 at 1600 mghz on a I7 920. I pushed my I7 to 3.9 stable my memory at time was 1567... something like that. so if it's make sense to have 1600 mgz memory , I said yes. Now I set it finally a7 3.66 and me memory is set to 1457mghz.

I heard that unless u get the i7 Extreme Edition 965 and instead go with a 920 u cant really OC the memory and its a waste of money to go more the 1333 mhz, is that correct?

P.S. Which of the mem speeds is best(most practical/bang for the buck) for the 920 and an asus p6t mobo? Looks to me like its 1600mhz (though u really cant Oc it that much anyways)
