I found information I need but can't copy it. How do you copy and paste a PDF file into another file I have on my desktop or wordpad?
 
Hawkeye22's response is correct, unless the PDF is just an image of text! This is a common problem with PDFs created by scanning a printed document. If this is the case, and you have Adobe Acrobat Pro, then you can OCR the PDF to embed the actual text into it and then you can copy and paste. Or, if you have a scanner, the software that came with it may have OCR software you can use.
