    sorry upon reading other simelar problems i have left quite a vague discription so ;
    i am running an acer aspire desktop
    product m1200/3200/5200

    with bios version R01-B2

    i have removed the hdd and started the comp and the hdd disc is spinning but the bios still cant find the hdd i have no idea whats going on lol but would there be a problem with the device drivers or some thing of that nature thanks to anyone who could hazzard a guess.
  2. you could try removing the bios battery for a few hours and then putting it back in

    then reconfiguring the bios if you havent tried that already

    good luck
  3. If you have a hard drive delay set in the BIOS, try increasing it a little.
