Hello,
Trying to do a fresh install of WINXP Pro 2002 SP1 on a 1.5 TB Seagate Sata HD attached to an Asus P4s800D-X MB. The existing OSintsall has become corrupt and was cloned via Seagate Tools from old IDE drive that the Sata replaced.
The MB see the sata drive in BIOS and boots but when attempting to install XP it does not see the drive at all. I have spent three days finding the Sata drivers for the 964/180 chipset on the MB and made a slipstreamed XP disc with SP3 and drivers integrated but it STILL cannot see the drive and I have no floppy unit to do the F6 method... any ideas?

Try F6 anyway and at the stall when it asks for drivers on a floppy just hit Enter. That forces it to look within itself for the right driver and it should find yours.

Not hitting F6 just makes it lazy. If pushed, an external USB floppy is only a few quid/dollars/dong, baht or whatever.
