Xp adn 7 in one ssd

i have some software that i can install them only in windows xp and i have windows 7 for other games & software
hoew can i install noth windows in a ssd with out decreasing performance of sdd?
can i inable trim?

  1. Trim is a no go for XP. Also unless you buy a big SSD the 2 Os's will take way to much space.

    What you need is Windows 7 with xp mode, google it.

    Go ahead, partition your SSD as you need to, and install both XP and W7. About 15gb will be needed for each. Read performance will not be affected. Trim comes into play when files are deleted and updated. You will be good when running W7 which passes on the trim command. When you run XP, run a trim cleanup program perhaps once a day. If your SSD device is Intel, use the Intel SSD toolbox.
