HELP Pc powers on then off once and on......

and than goes to windows. It does that and after that thers is no problem. It's stable, The power on sequence got me worried though.

I'm thinking there's a short somewhere. Doesn't explain the fact that it eventually boots up, but a short will make it power on and off like that.

Sounds normal, like a BIOS power on to hardware 'check' function.

Ah, I misread that. If it only does it once, that can be normal, but it shouldn't do it every time you boot.
