Hi
i just bought all the parts and I want to build a I7 desktop
and I already placed a order for the motherboard msi pro x58
however, i just check a few comments on newegg. people were saying that msi pro x58 has heating problem
the temperature will go up to 70 c - 90 c
so i am wondering is anyone using msi pro x58 has the same problem
if you do, how do you solve this problem

I followed one guys advice and removed the heatsink and added arctic silver 5 as the thermal paste instead of what was on there. A bit of a pain to removed the gluey substance they use but my temps stay in the 70s now. Use some nuts and bolts to keep the heatsink nice and tight with the chips.

Good luck and it seems to be the only solution available.
