Hello,
How do I enable my laptop to use my new Netgear wireless router?

Assuming your computer has wireless capability, you should be able to find the available wireless network by right-clicking on the wireless icon in the system tray (normally in lower right-hand corner of the screen). You can then find your new router and connect. Be sure your router is set to conduct wireless operation - you may have to use a browser to set it up - see your owner's manual.
