After two months of extremely light use, my Asus M2N68-AM nForce Ethernet has failed and I am out of ideas to solve the problem.

Windows XP is reporting that there is no Ethernet cable plugged in and my Linksys BEFSX41 just has all three lights associated with the computer flashing on and off.

I uninstalled all the drivers and reinstalled everything with no results.

Does anyone have some suggestions?

In BIOS check that the ethernet hardware is 'enabled'.
