Pretty much just finished my first computer build. Took me a while but I'm happy thus far.

I'm kind of new at this so please, so any help would be much appreciated.

I am looking to optimize my system. Here's what I got: q6600 (2.4ghz), 6gb RAM, 9800gtx+ ssc, corsair 450vx psu.
Seems like my bench marks are ok, but is there any more fine tuning I can do to get more out of my computer for gaming. Please let me know. Thanks

Well the stand out thing is to Overclock your CPU, There are plenty of people over on the Overclocking part of the forums who will help you with this if needed. They will no more about it than i do. Its not that difficult. :)

If you have Vista 64( ala the 6GB) pcstats.com has a good 99 tips to optimize Vista. Other than that just the usual making sure your page file is on a spare drive, games on a drive that does not have the OS. That type thing.
