I'm doing a budget case mod before installing my new (budget) motherboard into the best case I have. The case was one of those with with light rods on the front and I want to put a switch in between them and the power supply. The power supply is a Antec true power trio 550W and the lights are not cold cathode but blue LEDs at the ends of some clear plastic rods.

Do you think this would be OK?

Guess it's a good thing I didn't paint them flat black like the rest of the shiny/bright stuff then.

I was thinking of replacing them with dowels, but I would have to buy those as opposed to the flat black paint I got for free. Then I was going to use them as a bed-reading lamp. Since I do most of my reading with an old rocketbook these days I don't really need a bright light.

I didn't know anybody had heard of Loacal. It's such an obscure province of the Mu empire. Maybe you heard a reference to it because it borders on Macronia?
