I7 cores temperature spread

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone could explain to me possible reasons for a spread in temperatures over the 4 cores on my i7 920. I have it currently OC'd to 3.5ghz on stock cpu voltage of 1.2v. my specs are:

cm690 case
asus p6t deluxe v2
cm v8 cpu cooler
ocz platinum 6gb 1600
i7 920
wd caviar black 640gb

Prime95 running for an hour:

I kind of doubt that having a 4 degree spread over the cores is a problem, I was more just curious what would cause it. Is it just an uneven surface on the heatsink? Different processes on different cores? Uneven manufacturing? NB/SB temps?

A difference of 4 degrees in core temps is pretty normal. It's usually related to different processes on different cores.
