Hi, im just wondering which of the following motherboards support 8gb (4x2gb) 1066 (PC2-8500) RAM? IF they all can, which one is better? My CPU is AMD phenom II 940 3.0
1. ASUS M4A78-E AM2+/AM3 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
It says specifically on the specs page the amount and type of RAM supported...
As for which motherboard is better, it depends on the main use of the system. If your gaming orientated, I'd go for the Gigabyte 790x mainly for the second PCIE port, which is running at x8 speeds compared to the 780g's x4. If integrated video is a must, go for the 780g.
