Hey people,

Just wondered what my next upgrade should be for my primary system, haven't upgraded in about 6 months, and wondered what you all thought?

System Specs:

EZ Cool Alpine 7103H Silver Aluminium Midi tower case
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
XFX nForce 680i LT SLI
OCZ 4GB Kit (4x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 CL 4-4-4-15
XFX 8800GT 512MB GDDR3 GPU
500gb Samsung HD
800w power supply.
Windows XP SP3

If this is your current system, then the only upgrades that would make sense would be to get a professional video card (a quadro) or to get a bigger hdd.

That system should be allright for gaming/cad until another couple of years.

Ive heard that professional gpus IE quadro cards, are slightly lacking in power for gaming? In other words would i notice the difference?

If you are only going to be using a single video card then get a P45 mobo as they are cheaper and far more stable. Nvidia 680i's are not the greatest boards. The rest looks fine.
