Ok heres my problem.
I have ordered a new pc (obviously building myself) and aparently i need to upgrade the bios for my CPU to be supported. So if i do not have another AMD CPU, how can i upgrade the bios without having a CPU it supports? Does the bios run even if it does not support the CPU but has a CPU anyway. (the motherboard does support the CPU incase you were thinking i was a COMPLETE dummy lol its just the BIOS that the motherboard has come with form the manufactor to the website)
You will need a CPU that will run with the current BIOS in order to flash the BIOS to a later version. After flashung to the later BIOS, install the new CPU. Perhaps there is a shop in your area that has a CPU and can do it for you. Otherwise, buy the cheapest unit supported by your current BIOS to update before installing your intended CPU. The system will not run without a CPU. BIOS is part of the system.
