Replacing XPS motherboard

Is it possible to replace dell xps 710 motherboard with for example Asus P5Q Deluxe with out changing psu (dell 750W)

The motherboard is not generally dependent on the power supply but rather the parts you are connecting to it. Its the processor, GPU, RAM, optical drives etc. that take the power. So if your just replacing the motherboard, and all the other components are compatible with it, then the power supply shouldn't be the issue.

Dell mob is causing problem with my new 4870 x2, all other parts will be compatible including psu, I'm not sure about dell cooling tower for cpu, and I will have to modify xps case for new motherboard.
